Benefits to Individual Investors
The Triskeles Foundation encourages individuals to participate who:
  • Want a quick and wasy way to do creative giving, dispose of appreciated stock, or dissolve a family foundation
  • Have interest in various progressive causes but don’t know which organizations might meet their expectations
  • Wish to support certain organizations but need the Triskeles Foundation to provide due diligence on these groups prior to funding
  • Want to learn more about certain organizations or initiatives dedicated to social change
  • Desire to meet other people with similar philanthropic interests and goals
  • Want to be sure that the assets set aside for gifting are protected for that purpose
  • Want full tax benefits at the time of making the donation to your fund and tax savings on appreciated assets


 
Other Benefits
  • Donors may have a philanthropic plan but want to have administrative, tax and distribution support
  • The fund provides the opportunity beyond the immediate tax year for donors to make philanthropic decisions and recommend gifts
  • A full “back office” function, including check-writing and reports, is provided by the Triskeles Foundation
  • Donors may appoint successor advisors, such as children or trusted friends
